Potty training

What age is good to begin potty training? My son is 16 months but he is showing crazy signs he might be ready. He points at his diaper when he pees (as we know we can see the color change on the strip.) He goes to his room and points at the diaper drawer when he poops. He likes to follow dad & I to the bathroom and he’s just interested in watching. I ask him if he wants to go on the potty and he gets really excited. I just don’t know where to start 🤔

You can totally start now!

For boys you have them sit backwards on the kid potty, since they say to bowel training them before pee training them

At least get some things now and start to introduce concepts

This mentions that most don't show signs of readiness until at least 18 months

Thank you so much!!
