It depends on your highchair, and the shape of it, as if any of the edges don't quite fit then it won't work. I agree, munchkin, just from supermarkets have been best for us for bowls. We have the one that's a 3 pack, all different sizes, purple green and blue. In terms of plates I purchased round silicone ones which have gone everywhere with me, couldn't do without them. Saying that, my youngest little pickle has discovered that if he can't get the bowl off the highchair, our highchair has an insert on top of another table which has no suction whatsoever, and he can just pull off the bowl AND then highchair top table 🤦🏼♀️😂
You need a flat surface, so a wooden table won’t work well. A high chair table should be ok
