Struggling to get my daughter to drink. Shall I give squash?

She has a munchkin 360 cup and she barely drinks any. Maybe half at most all day. Her poos are not constipated and she eats fruit but I’m wondering whether I should put some squash in the cup? What are your thoughts?

Have you tried a different cup? My boy didn’t get on with his munchkin 360 (I tried to drink from it and struggled too) he now has a tumtum sippy cup and loves it!! He’ll drink a few cups a day now x

She has a sippy cup too when she’s at my mums but still the same result…

Open cup?

Try different cups this is what happened with us. Avoid squash at all costs - that’s a trap you don’t want to fall in to!!

We have changed cups lots of times! Also if I have a big water bottle for myself, she will drink loads out of it as it’s fun as it’s mummy’s drink. So maybe do that to increase her water intake xx

Thanks I will try different cups

@Shannon this looks good

I put squash in when i really want my LO to drink. But it's like a cap full of squash then a full cup of water so it's more the illusion of juice that gets her to drink it!

I dilute the tiniest amount of squash or juice with water and it's encouraged my boy to drink alot more.

I’m following as my daughter doesn’t drink loads either…she’s breastfed twice a day and rarely constipated so not sure if it’s a problem but she just has one or two sips of water and probably has one cup over the course of a day.

@Shannon agree it's definitely worth switching up cups, we have these & they are great

I find an open cup with a straw helps my lg drink more, she will almost down a cup as she finds the straw fun
