I feel like a bad mom bc my toddler only picks at food

According to dad, babysitter and grandparents he eats really well for them but NOT for me. I have him in the morning and early afternoon every day and he will only eat 1 or 2 things of everything I put in front of him. Today for breakfast I gave him some graham crackers while I prepared oatmeal. He ate the crackers and none of the oatmeal (which he has normally eaten in the past). I ended up making him a piece of toast and some apple slices. Ate maybe half the toast anibbled at the apples. Then we ran errands and he was hungry when we got home so I made him a plate of cheese, ham, crackers and blueberries. All food I know he likes, except for the ham. He only ate the crackers, a bit of ham and a few blueberries. Yet when I take him to the babysitter he will clear his plate and look for more, probably because he has eaten so poorly for me. And my husband says he's been eating a lot for dinner usually. Grandparents say the same.

Maybe stop giving them the snacks till after they eat their meal. Crackers. Unless my child is having a meltdown, i try not to lead with that or they won't eat for me.

What are grandparents, dad & babysitter feeding him? Could be that he has specific ‘safe foods’ and doesn’t luck the textures of the other food being offered? My 13 month old is so fussy with food it’s very hit & miss but if your son is hungry he will definitely eat something! It’s hard not to put pressure on yourself but you will find people will say how he eats everything with me or he doesn’t cry for me & so on but you’re his mum therefore you’re his safe space so he may just feel more comfortable declining things from you because he knows you’ll offer something else x

Try not to stress so much, my daughter is 3 and there are weeks where her nursery say she’s asked for seconds for lunch and cleared the whole lot while if i make the same thing at home she tells me its yucky 🤦🏼‍♀️ but then theres other weeks where she eats really well at home and at nursery so don’t beat yourself up too much kids are just like that sometimes xx
