Dummies

Mine only has his for sleep & he sleeps all night so I’m not in any rush to take it away any time soon🤷🏼‍♀️ he’s still so little

I read before 1 is best so we did it at 10 months and she was fine. I was putting her down for a nap and she threw it out the cot so I never gave it back again! She only had it for sleep I hid it whenever she was awake.

Just had my health visitor today and she said to try now because my daughter is personally teething and she explained the wonky teeth if I keep her dummy

@Emma my HV didn’t give me that advice. She said as long as it’s only for sleep then he’s fine. He has 8 teeth and they are perfect. I wouldn’t worry

@Holly my little one has 8 teeth so I don’t want to leave it too long and it affect his teeth x

@Jasmine oh yes that’s true but she asked me if she has dummy constantly when she’s moody and I said yes maybe that’s why she gave me this advice

@Emma he is currently cutting his molars so he’s really unsettled so I’ve been giving him his dummy during the day especially when a cuddle & teething stuff isn’t helping. I’m really not worried

Ita never to early to take it away I left my son until he was 23months old and he gave them to the baby elves at Christmas My daughter woulent take to one luckily

@Emma-louise that’s such a great idea!! Waiting until they have some understand if why they are lagging to give it up!!

@Jasmine it really worked well for us We made him a certificate and santa left him his main present in return of the dummies and he still remembers now as we've spoken about it since as his 6 in January so would work well for november babies too

@Emma-louise oh that is soooo sweet!! Will be doing this next year when my boy is closer to 2!! (He’s October 27th)

@Jasmine also if you have loads everywhere like we somehow did and find any later we left them for baby birds 🤣 But definitely by Christmas that'll really be a great time for him yo understand

@Emma-louise haha he only has 2 day time dummies & 2 night time dummies. He gets fresh every day lol (4 all together but 1 is always out) lol xx
