Gestational diabetes test
I had my glucose test today but they didn’t offer me the drink? They just took my bloods. My appointment was literally in and out for one round of bloods. I asked about the drink and told the midwife I was expecting to be here for 2hrs and she said we haven’t done that since Covid…
Anyone else experienced this? 😖

I have mine on Thursday next week and in the letter it says about a blood test, drink blood test, same when I had my son x
I had mine last week, they took bloods around 8am had to drink the glucose drink and then sit in the waiting area for 2 hours before getting more bloods. Got a phone call with my results later that day!
I had mine Tues and it was the same as others have said
During COVID they did do a blood test to look for hba1c rather than do the drink. Maybe some places decided not to go back to it
I had mine on Tuesday and had bloods, drink, 2 hour wait then more bloods x
3 wks ago and I had to sit for two hours x

That's odd. I had mine about a month ago , they took bloods, gave me the drink then I sat for 2 hours then they took bloods again x
