Ideas for Thanksgiving dinner?

We have Thanksgiving this weekend and I’m trying to incorporate our babe into dinner. He’s 7.5 months, and mostly prefers mashed foods but is starting to grasp BLW slowly. My son has Cerebral Palsy, impacting his left hand, so he tends to get frustrated self-feeding which is why he tends to prefer mashed, so I can help feed him while he plays with the food, since he is a foodie and just wants to eat as much as he can. I’d love to try and test out some of our diner with him (I will still have some mashed foods on the side to ease any frustration), but what would you find best to include your baby with? We do a typical dinner, turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, veggies, buns, salad

honestly I'd just give him most of what you're having!

@Sarah thank you!🙂 for the turkey, any tips on how to serve it? Would you give a massive piece to let them work on, or kind of shred it to let them use pincer grasp and eat? I was almost thinking also chopping it small and mixing in the potatoes for his mashed side, but would like to let him explore its texture 🙂

you could do both, mix some into the potato for protein and then shred some to let him practice with, especially if you think he'd be less likely to eat it by itself (:

Tbh anything you eat he could eat. Make sure the veggies are super soft that he can easily mash them himself. And the turkey would need to be shredded. I probably wouldn’t give him the salad.
