Family members

My son was premie and has had some issues since his birth. An incredible little fighter who is thriving despite these issues. I spoke to a family member updating her on his appointment. Her response was “don’t have any more children will you”…. Now this has got me so mad. This is the second time she’s said it since he was born and she also said it when I was pregnant (waters broke at 28 weeks) and she added that i “don’t do pregnancy very well”. Am I in the right to be upset by this? I find it incredibly disrespectful.

Sorry but what the absolute fuck. That is a vile thing to say and not true at all x

Yes those comments were unnecessary. I don’t know this person or their sense of humor but I’ve noticed some people make awkward comments like this in an attempt to be humorous in a sarcastic way. I can handle sarcasm but when it’s hurtful like that it’s just not funny 🤷🏽‍♀️did you respond to her?

SO rude and unnecessary. If someone said this to me I would consider distancing myself from them

That is extremely rude and yes you have every right to get upset
