Bored baby?

Hello đź‘‹ I live in Springfield and have a 5 month old baby. I don't drive and so I find myself doing the same old things with her. Going to town, walking around, playing with toys at home etc. For some reason I don't have the confidence to walk into mace playce with her incase they tell me she's too young (anxiety much?). I don't have much family around and no friends really so I'm probably quite lonely which I've never admit before. My partner works all day, and my older kids are out or at school. I worry I'm not giving my baby a very engaging and stimulating start to life as i see people with their babies at aquariums and all sorts, and I havnt been able to do that. Do I just need to suck it up and start going further afield alone with her on public transport? Argh. X

Hello lovley, I am a mumma to a 7 month old in springfield. Happy for you to message me and we can set some dates to do things with the babies so you can build your confidence xx

What your doing with her is great though your doing amazing mumma ❤

Hey! I have a 3 month old and don't drive either. I feel exactly the same and haven't made any mum friends yet :(. I take my LB to some of the library baby groups and he loves walks to central park and if I get the bus there's the promenade park in Maldon and Danbury Woods. If you even fancy grabbing a coffee and a walk with the little ones feel free to give me a message x

Hey! My little girl is 8 months tomorrow. What you’re doing with your little one is amazing! I felt exactly the same about going anywhere and found myself stuck inside for the first few months at least. In the end I just went for it as my little girl got sooooo bored of being in the same 4 walls with a couple of walks here and there. Once I’d done it once, I wondered why I’d made such a big deal of it in my head! If you need someone to go with or just someone to talk too then please feel free to drop me a message 💓💓

Hi,I used to take my daughter to the baby nursery rhymes in the Central library. It used to be on Wednesday and Friday at 3pm and I have met some great mum friends there. Also the Little robin play group on Wednesday at 9:30 is great 🙂

Thankyou all for commenting. You've reassured me that we've all felt this way at one time or another! I'll definitely put my big girl pants and try some things lol It's funny as I've done it all with my other child a few years back but it all just feels so scary this time around 🤣 Would love to meet up with those of you that have offered. Maybe a small group peanut meet up?

I’ve got a 9 month old! I feel exactly the same! We love to go out! But when it’s the rainy days I do struggle! Feel free to message if you need someone to go places with!
