Use for expired colostrum

Hey all! Baby girl arrived 10/6/24. We brought colostrum tickets the hospital and thankfully didn't need to use it but now I am trying to find ways to use it so it isn't wasted. Any easy ways you can think of? Can adults use it?

You can use it in yours or babies bath, you can apply it on your skin if you have any breakouts/redness :)

how old is the colostrum?? if it was frozen it’s still okay to give surely? frozen is ok for 6 months or 12 months if it’s a deep freezer

technically frozen milk is ok for longer I believe too. it just starts to loose its goodness

@Gem the hospital fridges were not great and they half defrosted so they have been in my fridge since home. They are now 5 days old. Thinking about mixing in some lotion for my husband's keratosis on his arms.

Oh i see, im from the uk so I read it as baby was born 10th june not 6th october and thought you was worried about how long it had been frozen for! yeah deffo lotion would work x

Yeah. Us Americans are weird and like to be different than the rest of the world for some dumb reason. Lol
