Yeah I’ve had it on and off all through this preganncy! I had it right at the end with my little boy a few years ago and the treated it to try and stop him catching it on the way out (I think it can get into thier mouth etc as they are born then needs treating), let your midwife know and they’ll give you a pessery and cream xx

Had the same experience as Sammy, but had to visit the GP surgery twice as I was only give the cream the first time. And the pessery is what really seals the deal on it. Literally administered it 5 days before my water broke and it did the job. Whilst the cream was REAAALLY taking its sweet time

My midwife took a swab from me last week (as I thought my waters had broken but they hadn’t) and I got a phone call yesterday saying the results came back with thrush. Weird as I don’t have any symptoms but have been given the pessary. My midwife told me to insert the pessary with my fingers rather than the stick it comes with xx

about a week ago i went into MAU as i thought my waters had broke, they did a routine swab to check for infections alongside the amniotic fluid swab and my routine swab came back positive for thrush. i was prescribed 6 x 100mg vaginal pessaries to take over the course of 6 nights. thrush is so common in pregnancy! xx
