Can a mumma help a tired mumma out šŸ˜

I am bout to call the health visitor but, basically my little one has been crying all night and will only settle on me (nearly 5 months and weā€™ve been through the colic and reflux bits so I know itā€™s not that) heā€™s always been good at sleeping, has been crying all morning; drinking his milk then crying again, I have gave him calpol and it worked for a bit but now is crying again!! Took his temperature and itā€™s fine, Iā€™m just at a loss I thought maybe teething but heā€™s inconsolable ā˜¹ļø

Embrace chest sleeping till baby feels better. Even if they donā€™t have a temp etc they might just be not 100%. Crying is their only way of communicating as hard as it is to hear.

@Lottie yeah I do a lot of co sleeping and contact naps, not a stranger to itšŸ˜‚ but last night/this morning is very unusual behaviour

Can you go for a walk or pop him in the bath to distract him? X

@Riley ahh fair enough! Itā€™s just so hard isnā€™t it when you canā€™t settle them with all the usual tricks/comforts! X

I would give 111 a call if itā€™s unusual behaviour. Could be something, could be nothing but at least they can advise you or help with any suggestions šŸ©µ Sending hugs

@Gemma I really wish I had the energy to take him on a walk, but Iā€™m on 5 hours sleep in 2 days, I thought sleep regression and teething as the night before was challenging but last night was another levelšŸ˜x

@Lottie I just wish I could read his mind as I feel like Iā€™m failing! X

@Angharad see this is my biggest problem, worried about wasting health professionals time, as my head is saying teething and regression, but then my heart is like itā€™s not like him get it checked! Thank you šŸ’™

@Riley my husband is a 111 clinician, trust me they really donā€™t feel like that, they would 100% prefer you to call in and go from there šŸ©µ

@Riley ah bless you! Itā€™s hard isnā€™t it :( howā€™s he doing now? X

@Gemma I ended up taking him to minor injuries and his eye was a bit swollen and irritated but they couldnā€™t see anything in there! Said he had a rosey cheek so couldā€™ve been teething and a bad eye! But just told me to keep an eye on him and last night couldā€™ve been a mixture of the both šŸ„ŗ he seems okay himself! Thank you for asking! X

@Riley great to hear heā€™s getting back to normal poor bubs šŸ©µ

@Riley oh bless him! Sending you positive vibes for tonight! They are such a worry arenā€™t they! X
