My son has always said the santas you go and see are fake ones as the real one is in the North Pole. My son is 9 he has questioned for a few years I think. I think it’s fine until maybe year6/ high school but I think he’ll be ready then anyway
My daughter does who is 9. She found out about the tooth fairy this year but still believes in santa. She had a few questions last year
Yes she does. My (almost) 12 year old has known for a couple of years but didn’t tell us until about a year ago but the 9yo definitely does
My 9 year old is suspicious and I have been looking at the best way to explain it if he does ask but I think explaining that Santa represents the magic of Christmas which takes many forms and that I still believe as I believe in the magic of Christmas, but we always told him anyway that we buy the presents and send them to Santa and he gets one present that is from Santa, we have just had another child to this year so I'm not too worried this year as think my 9 year old is excited to have his first Christmas with his brother and isn't thinking much beyond that
My daughter is 10 in a week and still believes!
I think he does.. but he’s asked a few questions. All the presents are from us anyway, just sent to Santa to deliver.. think probably last year or so anyway.. but he’ll keep the magic for his younger brother who is 2
Nope. We don’t have Santa passed being a baby/toddler. Once he stopped playing with toys he stopped needing to be lied to. He was pleased too when we explained. He thought we didn’t love him because we never gave him anything for Christmas and every year it made him sad.
