anyone else’s toddler fully capable of using a fork but still chooses to use their hands??

typing this as my daughter shovels pasta into her mouth 😂

I think it's a common phase. Mine was the same. She is 3 now and uses consistently cutlery

Yup, and constantly throws it, too. Every meal time acurrance here

Eating with hands is a lot more natural than using cutlery, and healthier. It’s also super normal developmentally, your little one will switch when they’re ready ☺️

Just pasta? You’re lucky

My 2 year old would use his hands if I didn't feed him. He can use a spoon/fork, he just wont

I’m sure it’s a phase. I’m hoping eating without hands or a fork is a phase too. My three old likes to eat “like a puppy” at dinner time 😂
