Eating/behaviour

I catch myself crying near enough everyday because my daughter won’t eat much. She has a diary intolerance aswell and I genuinely feel like I’ve failed her. She likes meat and some fruit whereas her veg she’s gone completely off it. Now she is up all night shouting for me

Don't beat yourself up, babe! Being a mum is hard. My daughter goes through this as well. I always make sure I offer an alternative. Which I know is not for everyone. Even if I've cooked her a yummy dinner and she won't eat it, I'll give her something else I can knock up quickly. For example, toast. Or, like just now, she refused curry, so I gave her a big yoghurt and some Raspberries. Is it a full dinner? No! But there's something in her tummy. Sometimes, I'll give her biscuits. Anything will do! Just keep going. Keep reintroducing things. Maybe make a list of foods you know she 100% likes without fail. On another note it's not ARFID is it? I think that's what it's called. Maybe look into that too. Sending you love from a sleep deprived mother of a 2 year old and 1 year old that drive me to insanity and beyondddddd xx

My LG is the same! Only really eats Fruit and veg, sausage and pasta. She doesn't really eat much more. Breakfast on a rare occasion, most of her lunch not all, and either minimal or no dinner... When she's like this I mix baby rice with lacto milk and a puree to make a pudding as it fills her up. She's only maintaining weight ad she's still on milk x

Honestly, I’m the completely the same! My little boy just blank refuses his food. Everything is revolved round him, what I cook or his dad cooks. I genuinely give up when he literally sits there and pretends to cough and be sick. Yesterday I gave him weetabix with his grapes, his fav breakfast and only thing he will eat! What did he do??? Blank refuse it then eventually he had it, went to the kitchen and just vomited it all out! I feel like he’s losing weight but he’s not he’s just a very active baby! You can give him a plate full of chips, his snacks and box full of grapes he’ll have room for that. But not a home cook meal.. I’m so tired running after him, I also have a four month old that’s exclusively breastfeeding so I’m literally a zombie day in day out.

My son eats terribly. Can't remember the last time he ate veg honestly. I used to hide it in his food but now he won't eat anything but pasta, lasagna sheets or wheatabix 😪 I've read it's pretty common for alot of mums so I'm not stressing anymore! Also I've noticed if his teeth are hurting he goes off everything but yogurts, probably because it's cold!
