BV Frequency.

I got BV at the end of my first trimester, got prescribed metronidazole and then it came back 3 weeks later. At this rate, I am afraid it’s just going to be ongoing all pregnancy and the antibiotic makes me sick and concerns me for the baby. Question: How many times in a pregnancy is it common to get BV and does anyone have recs for balancing pH to prevent it.

decrease amount of sugar and carbs ingested increase water and mineral instake. unsweetened cranberry juice (Not “sugar free”) try vaginal care probiotics (bought from refrigerated section , those are the most alive) also you can try soaking up to your hips in warm water with apple cider vinegar or fill a spray bottle with water and enough apple cider to feel a tiny sting. spray down there and rise after. i had BV once & UTI once my last pregnancy and did all these (didn’t take the prescribed medication from DR) cured myself and haven’t gotten it back

@Andrea this is incredible! Thank you so much.

Yes mam! Best of luck to you🥰

Thank you for this!

You need to increase your fruit and veggie intake and drink more water! Stay away from processed foods and junk. Tell your partner to clean up his diet too!! It’ll make a big difference.
