Any physios/chiropractors/someone who understands back issues on here?

So I’m undergoing testing to figure out the cause of my bladder issues postpartum. Mainly retention/weak steam etc. My urologist wanted me to have an MRI to see if it was possibly nerve damage as I’ve also had numbness/tingling in my legs at times. (I’ve had 2 planned c sections & currently 7 months PP) My urologist sent me for an MRI of my lower back and their results came back as ‘wear and tear in the back with a bulge of the disc between lumbar vertebrae 5 and sacral vertebrae 1 but doesn’t appear to be causing pressure on any nerve roots’ The urologist has said from my results its unlikely that this has caused any of my current issues but I’m not 100% convinced personally and also if I do have bulge between these discs, what does that mean? Is it serious? I’ve had lower back pain on and off for years and even saw a chiropractor after my first birth just because of holding a heavy baby a lot made it worse and it did help with pain. He also thought I have a slightly curved spine at the bottom/mild scoliosis. I haven’t seen him this time around as I simply cannot afford it. But after the MRI results the urologist hasn’t really given me any guidance on the back issues and just wants to do other tests on the bladder itself. Can anyone help or give a bit of insight for me please 🙏🏻

Following as having the same bladder issues!

@Erin have you seen anyone about it? I’m seeing a urologist and pelvic floor physio but neither know the cause/seem to have dealt with it before

I went to the doctor but she was pretty unhelpful! She said she was going to refer me to urology but I haven’t heard. She put me on meds for an overreactive bladder which is definitely not the issue 😂

@Erin 🤦‍♀️ I found the GP I saw was really unhelpful too. Definitely chase up the urology referral though. I had to chase mine up as they put it through as non urgent which it definitely wasn’t and after going to A&E several times (because I had times where I couldn’t wee at all) I ended up seeing someone sooner.
