"Honeymoon Fund" for a baby gift?

You know how folks can set up sites for a "honeymoon fund" for wedding gifts? Is there anything like that for gifts for birthdays, etc? I'd love to ask family to contribute to something big, like a swing set, for holiday/birthday gifts for LO, but I can't find a site that would do that... does anyone know if something like this exists?

I do acorns for my LO! it’s an investment fund to where family can make a contribution. I don’t prefer birthday gifts for my little one’s birthday but we always ask for contributions into her investment portfolio. Once they’re old enough you can update to goHenry and they’ll have a debit card/investment card.

I know people that share their Amazon wishlist (similar to a registry). I personally have a 529(b) College plan that family can contribute money in. It’s safe. Set up so no one can touch it until she is 18 and even if she won’t go to college she can use it for other things. I have been putting in the money she gets in cards for holidays and when she was born and she already has $2k in it and is only $21 month old. It adds up and I think she will appreciate it more than the toys or whatever my family/friends would buy instead.

@Joya I didn't realize Acorns had this feature!

@Jasmin Thanks for the reminder! We have a savings account but I keep meaning to look into the 529b's.
