First period postpartum

I’m 18 weeks PP only had 2 periods just come off my second one and mine was awful too I’m not gonna lie so heavy. More than my after birth bleed. Really heavy and bright red and had awful cramps I also had ECS☹️xx

I had an emergency section and and my first period after 8 weeks pp and was heavy and painful and have been like that since I'm currently 16 weeks pp xxx

Yes mine were awful! I have had 4 since she was born 18 weeks ago! They’ve just started to settle down. First one lasted 2 weeks and was SO heavy. Then I started my second only 2 weeks later and again very very heavy but lasted a week. Then the last one I had went back to my usual cycle length but still a bit heavier than pre pregnancy , but much better. I’m due to start another today so hoping it is better again! Xx
