I was prescribed that for morning sickness but I didn’t take it at all as I didn’t want to risk anything x

@Julia yeah I think I’d rather suffer! X

Best thing I found that worked for morning sickness was ice cold water with plenty of ice, mint tea or ginger tea. Mints. Nectarines. Lucozades sports as well. And plain buttery toast x

To be fair, it says unless your doctor feels it’s necessary. If the doctor prescribed it to you knowing that you’re pregnant, they have weighed up the risks of doing so, though you should have been advised too so you could make a considered decision with their guidance. https://www.nhs.uk/medicines/cyclizine/pregnancy-breastfeeding-and-fertility-while-taking-cyclizine/

Yeah I’m on these currently and my midwife said nothing to worry about and no need to suffer. Take them if you need them, you can be on them your whole pregnancy if needed.

If a doctor prescribed it its fine, technically you are doing it under 'supervision' they will know your pregnant, weighed up all the risks & things and made the decision xx

I was given these tablets when I was 21 weeks as I had norovirus and couldn’t hold anything down. If it’s prescribed then it should be fine.

I took these when i was pregnant for really bad sickness x

Cyclizine js the first line antiemetic for pregnant women. Most prescription leaflets say not to take medications if pregnant “unless advised” which is silly really but it’s probably more of an insurance thing for the manufacturer xx

Try a glass of pineapple juice or ginger tea to get rid of nausea it saved me in 1/2 trimester

There is a really handy website for medications in pregnancy: https://www.medicinesinpregnancy.org/leaflets-a-z/cyclizine/
