No and I never would. There is a reason they say to make them fresh and it’s because it’s safer for baby

Yep I do this. Make sure any bottles are used up within 24 hours. Once out again, the bottle is only good for 1 hour.

I do! I pre-make them the night before and they stay in the fridge until used. I don’t heat them up though as I found our girl preferred them cold :) I’m pretty sure this is NHS approved but you should absolutely do some research into it if you’re thinking of this option xx

I do this I was making them fresh but my baby doesn't have feeding queues he just goes from 0-100 in 5 seconds n just starts screaming the bloody house down and if u make a bottle the way nhs tells u to it takes about 45 minutes to make 1 bottle. Because of this my health visitor said to just premake them and throw them in the fridge as soon as I've made them don't leave them to cool down before u put them in there. This used to be standard advice like 10 years ago and all those babies r fine. As long as u make them safely on a clean surface with clean hands u give very little opportunity for bacteria to develop. I just use a bottle warmer to heat them up as and when baby needs them makes life a million times easier x

Thank you! Such a struggle to make them fresh when baby suddenly decides they want the bottle there and then! X

@Lauryn how do you make yours then?

I use a nuby rapid cool. My kettle is also a rapid boil so it takes me about 4 minutes to make a bottle. I also record how long ago my baby had a bottle so I know when she is due and I get the kettle etc prepared for around that time and then wait for her to tell me and it’s ready in about 4 mins ☺️ I usually have time to wash the rapid cool and get it in the steriliser too but my baby is pretty chill tbf

We always premade ours until my son went to like 2 bottles a day, then I just started making them on demand as I knew roughly when they'd be🤷🏼‍♀️ as long as you're not leaving them out for ages to cool down and using them within 24 hours it's safe. I used to make them up at night time then chuck them in a tub of ice water to cool down quick, then straight in the fridge

I use the nuby rapid cooler too and make them as he needs them! I boil the kettle, measure the water, pop 4oz into the cooler (leaving 2 in the bottle) and then mix the powder into the 2 in the bottle then add the cooled water from the nuby. Makes a bottle in a few minutes! Doing it this way also means it doesn't need sterilising each time. I'd find it harder heating it up from the fridge as my boy doesn't like cold/cool milk

I did!

Nope I don’t.. I boil the kettle and fill a flask in the morning. Then I know roughly when he’s due a bottle so I make one using the nuby rapid cool hot shot method and then the bottles ready in under literally 2/3 mins..
