Moms who entered being a sahm without any real work skills and the anxiety of being 30+ without any skills and how to gain confidence to go back in the real world. For me I only ever worked in food/beverage and as a CNA. That was 7 years ago. I don't ever want to do either again but don't feel I'm smart enough or confident enough to do anything else.

@Morgan That’s an absolutely valid question, and you're not alone. I’ve been in your shoes, asking the same things, which is why I became a coach for mothers. Many mothers who have been stay-at-home moms for years feel the same anxiety about re-entering the workforce, especially without formal skills, and this is normal. My suggestion for the first step would be to reflect on your values. I know people talk about this all the time, but it’s incredibly important—they’re our unconscious driving force. Also, think about your goals in life, and don’t limit them to your current situation. For goals, you need to know your 'burning why.' Without clarity on your direction, it’s difficult to move forward. Consider exploring new opportunities like online courses, certifications, or volunteer work in areas you’re interested in. This can help you ease back into a work mindset and build confidence over time. Start by figuring out what you want in life—don’t focus on the 'how' at this stage.

Also, can you clarify if your confidence issue is only skill-related or a deeper lack of self-confidence?
