Blood pressure and swelling

So I’m coming up to 30 weeks this week, I’ve noticed the last 2 weeks or so my hands and feet, mainly my feet are swelling quite a lot, I work 12hr shits and am constantly on my feet, know it’s not ideal .. I’ve been trying to monitor my blood pressure but unsure on what would be classed as a high reading .. I’ve checked it today it’s 123/72

Your systolic is 3 over normal while your diastolic is 8 under normal. I'd get checked out even though it only seems slightly off edited to add: nobody's blood pressure is perfect 120/80 x

thank you @Kirsty … I think I’ll probably mention it at my next midwife appointment at 31 weeks and in the meantime maybe just keep and eye and monitor my blood pressure Xx

I was admitted to hospital and induced just over a week early due to late onset hypertension, they are concerned when your blood pressure reaches anything over 140/90 (either number higher). 123/72 is completely normal 😊

Hi, that’s a normal blood pressure. If you are on your feet a lot that can be a cause of the swelling. Maybe wear some compression stockings. If you’re having any frontal headaches, issues with vision, swelling in face then I would suggest going to the hospital.
