Has anyone announced publicly yet??

I know I should wait until end of first trimester, but we've already started telling close family, and I'm itching to talk about it. I'm 8 weeks exactly today.

I announced at 9w4d. I decided if anything bad happened I wouldn’t want to grieve in hiding and I want my baby to be celebrated as long as possible

I am 7wks 2days and still have not. Planning on telling my in-laws, my parents and my close friends beginning of November!

I'm 10 weeks 2 days and I told mine

I’m 8 weeks 4 days and haven’t told anybody expect for my boss because I work in a warehouse.

I haven’t yet waiting for first ultrasound due to thinking I’m haveing twins

I told immediate family and few close friends. I’m 8 weeks 2 days now. We will probably wait a few more weeks before talking about it too much. We told partly because we wanted to celebrate with people and if anything happens we won’t want to grieve alone. Also I have been so sick, way more than my first. It’s been nice to get some extra help from some people who know what’s going on!

I’ve told a friend and my sister (her husband knows too but he figured it out) I’m waiting till I’m 12 weeks to tell my parents and maybe my brothers. It’s definitely hard especially with nausea and intense hunger. I’m nine weeks

I told my family. Waiting till next month to tell my husbands family I'll have to convince them to keep their mouths shut though and they're chismoso’s 😵‍💫 but ill be announcing it to social media in March if at all tbh lol.

@Alisa me too!

@Brielle the handful of people I've told have all been due to the sickness factor!!! (Except my mom and sister who were told out of anxiety and excitement right when I found out lol) I've had to cancel and curb so many plans with family and friends. We decided to tell the rest of our immediate family today and then we're announcing to extended family and friends on Facebook tomorrow:)

My family, in laws, and our closest friends know. We told them because I knew I'd be needing babysitters for my daughter for my doctors appointments. We don't plan on publicly announcing until 12 weeks or later

I’m 9w and have told some close fam & friends. I thought I’ll tell people who I’d want to support me however this goes… but it’s also hard I feel isolated and like I can’t be myself when I see people who don’t know. Great thing is time will go by! Yay!

We’re having twins which was a total shock! So we told close friends and family at 7weeks. We will announce more publicly after our 12 week ultrasound

I MC'd last time at 12w and family and few frnz knew. I think I prefer to grieve in solidarity, so didn't like the attention and consolation all that much. This time I'm almost 8w now, I don't know if we'll even tell our families until 3-4mo. It's just where we come from. It's common to share at 12w.

The list of people I’ve told just keeps growing. We were at a friend’s wedding basically the week I found out (in Napa!) so it was really hard to hide. And then I said f it because those would be the people I would talk to if something happened to the baby anyway. I say do you and if you’re excited and ready to share the news just do it!

I’m 10 weeks and told our parents already. Mostly because I was nervous someone would find out and didn’t want our parents to not be the first to know. Now kind of waiting until 12weeks to tell others

I told my two closest friends the day I found out (one is also TTC), and a few other very close friends at 7.5 weeks (all in town for a wedding and I realized immediately that they’d figure it out). Otherwise, we were planning to wait until our first OB appointment next Friday… but we’re seeing my in laws tomorrow and we might give them the news. (I’m 8.5 weeks now.)
