Question about milk.

Hi ladies, So have a questions, So my little one takes kendamil formula and he is turning 9 months in a week or so but even with like food he seems so hungry but ive been sticking to the guide on the tin and hes on the fullest amount which is 7 scoops of milk which is ofcourse 7 ounces but goes upto 8 bla bla but anyway. I know it says on tins of formulas for every 30ml water its 1 scoop but has anyone been giving their baby more than the table guide at the back? I was thinking to give him more milk for his morning and night time milks now but unsure if its recommended??

We use Kendamil and I give my baby 240ml bottles which is more than the back of the tin, sometimes I give him 270mls. I’d ignore the back of the tin and if your baby is hungry give him more! As long as he’s not sick or in discomfort after then all good x

Thats very helpful to know thank you so much!, I usually just make extra afterwards in a diff bottle but its an effort using more bottles when i could of been making it in the one bottle but more of it x

we don’t use kendamil but i don’t follow the back of the tin… if he’s had a good lot to eat i’ll give him less scoops in his milk but roughly always the same amount of water. and of a night i add extra scoops to try and help him sleep better 😩

My boy usually has 8 oz bottles and has done for a long time (8 scoops 8 oz water), you can make how much you want - just do 1 scoop per 30 mL (1oz) of water x

We use Aptamil but its the same principal, I make 3 x 9oz bottles, she doesnt finish them all but usually finished at least one and then maybe 7oz for the other two

i follow my babies lead not the recommendation on the tin, my girl was on 6oz by 3w old and now at almost 9m she takes anywhere from 2oz - 12oz depending on how long she’s gone without a feed or what she’s had in the day, she gets what she wants xx
