Getting everything out & set up

So when will you all begin to get everything out & ready for arrival of your baby. Next to me and everything in place down stairs. I’m off next week and will be 34 weeks pregnant. Is that too soon? Due the 4th December so do I wait till the beginning of November?

I’ve got all mine set up and ready I’m not due till 23rd December there’s no rush I just like to be organised just incase xx

Tbh I'd say do it when you want to/feel ready to! I know some ladies have everything set up during their 20weeks plus, and others are with a couple of weeks left. I'm due 24th December and have nothing set up yet. I'll probably have it set up in December tbh!

Due 12th December. I’ll probably start worrying about it mid November. Might install the car seat sooner just to get rid of the box in the hallway 😂

I'm due December 3rd and now panicking I've got my dates mixed up I'm sure I'm 32 weeks today , so 33 weeks next week 🫠🙈🙈 But I have had the nursery set up for about 4/5 weeks, all clothes and clothes nappies washed and put away, crib set up in the lounge for a couple of weeks, I did the next to me in our room at the weekend.. Just got out the hospital bag last night really to start packing. I have 2 dogs and 2 cats so I wanted to get things out early so that they can get used to everything, all the new stuff, before we add a baby into the mix, too x

I think we’ll have most of it set up this weekend. I’m due Jan 2. The only exception is the next to me we won’t put next to our bed yet, but we’ll still stick it in our bedroom. Just on the other side for now. But aside from that eveyrthing else will be ready and in place! The hospital bag I won’t bother doing until 1 month before I’m due. Same with car seat installation (though we have unpacked it and tested it).

Thanks ladies. I also have two dogs so would be good to get things in place so they are used to it all before baby arrives. All clothes are washed and ironed just need to buy some draws and then it’s all ready. Hospital bag is ready just need to add a few things for me. The excitement is something else but also terrified about giving birth 🫣

I've spent the day ordering stuff because I've literally woken up with this running out of time feeling and I'm due on the 13th and I've done nothing 🤦‍♀️

I’m due 3rd December, 32 weeks today, I still need to get everything out the loft (pram, swinging chair, car seat) and wash all the covers. Need to wash all clothes. Need to sand and paint 2 bedrooms, order and build a wardrobe. Build a bed. Start packing hospital bag. Safe to say I’m starting to panic. My partner is just so layed back 😂 I was admitted to hospital at 36 weeks with my first so better get a move on 😂

@Lauren due date twin! We are also renovating ...got the hall stairs and landing to sand and stain all the woodwork ( skirting door frames etc) and carpet. Laminate floor to lay in the living room, and a box room to completely decorate. As well as purchase and wrap all Xmas presents for my 3 other kids, fix the porch roof, and some snagging bits in the kitchen 😂 i did want a new bathroom but decided that can wait until after Xmas, now! 🫠🫠 very aware we are running out of free weekends to do this ahaha

@Alana hahaha! Oh I’m so glad I’m not alone 😂 we’re having an elective section at the end of November so the thought of having to do all that and have all Xmas presents bought before end of November is stressful 😂 Worth it though when she’s here and I can just relax and enjoy it as everything is done!x

@Lauren oh at least you know when she will make her appearance lol I'm second guessing all the time thinking how long jave we actually got? I've put a deadline of November 21st to have it all done and booked a deep clean for that day 🤣🤣

We had physical changing table and bed side cot and some clothes washed and set up for my 1st due on 22nd dec but who actually came on 11th dec 😂 I hadnt got my own go bag ready tho, so my waters broke on the toilet at home and i was telling my husband what he needs to pack for me from all over the house. We had a million bags in the hospital ward due to my lack of preparation. But its just something to laugh about now! Also even if i had prepped, it wouldnt have helped- i had 6-7 pound clothes for my baby and he was 5.5 pounds 🙃 i wouldnt worry too much unless its just you and husband and no support. But i would also advice that ur birthing partner does pack for u, so they know what’s what and where!!!
