boundaries and rules for new born

so i’ve told both sides of my family and my bd family that we don’t want any visitors for at least 2 weeks after i give birth and we told everyone this months ago, and my bd mum keeps trying to ask to see my newborn. It’s so frustrating as i really don’t feel comfortable with anyone holding or meeting my baby, what are ways i can nicely enforce boundaries to do with meeting my daughter

No suggestions here tbh honestly because I’ve been nice and everyone tries to ignore my rules and walk over me, I would just reiterate that y’all don’t want visitors until at least two weeks after baby was born

@Des awh i hope people start listening to your rules :( it can be so draining at times xx

Before 40 days we don’t have visitors because she needs rest 😁tell them I need to get rest for one I don’t want any visitors

@Skhan i’ll try that thanks ☺️ my bd mum can be very persistent and tries to ask him behind my back lol x

Honestly visitors should be after your baby is vaccinated. Rn many babies are getting sick. Wait until like 4 months. If they can’t respect that and be considerate they shouldn’t see the baby

Be straightforward even if people think you’re rude. You just want the best for your baby and people tend to be selfish and not respect that

@Nathalie honestly i wouldn’t have visitors for longer if i could, it’s bc i live with my bd and his dad and i don’t think i have the mental strength to try defend myself lol x
