Does anyone have any marriage book recommendations? (Non-religious)

We’ve had a hard time with communication, attitudes, tempers and just lack of respect in our relationship this year. Most has been one sided but I want to work on whatever I need to as well. I would love to find a book for marriages going through it, especially after kids. Maybe something on how to reconnect and respect each other, something that has workbook type pages for us to write in together or answer questions? Anyone know of anything? If there’s not a way he can physically get involved through exercises or writing things down, he won’t care to listen if I read it aloud. We just had our second child and are desperate to find some common ground again

Baby Bomb.. I have not read it but was suggested by my perinatal mental health provider.. wishing you both well!

John Gottman has some good ones that have great activities and reflection to do! I really recommend The Seven Principles for Making marriage Work. And Baby makes three is good too!

Also relate do various books x

Things no one taught us about love - vex king. Not specific for marriage but a very good overall breakdown of attachment and how we experience/ show love & where the disconnects are. There are some questions and things to do with a partner and advice in there xx
