Hey, don't worry too much about not dilating early. I hear it can happen just as labor starts so you have time. It's good that your doctor wants to rule it out proactively just in case. Wishing you the very best

I've been sitting at 3 cm dilated for about a week now and nothing has happened, so don't feel discouraged! Dilation can happen really quickly or it can take time, but being dilated doesn't necessarily indicate when active labor will begin either!

When I went into labor I was 0cm for a couple hours. Don’t get discouraged!

@Maria you aren't kidding! I was doing so good up until these last two months 😅 but woooweee! But also I just wanted to say with my first I was 0 cm dilated at my morning apt but then went into labor that night...so....
