following because I plan on going unmedicated! I need all the details lol

Also planning on going unmedicated, I may regret that, who knows 😂. But I plan on using cold water in a peri bottle to spray while I’m peeing

Also going no epidural.

Yes girls hopefully we got this 😩❤️❤️ because I really want to go unmedicated as well, I never take anything for pain unless I need to I try to avoid it and hold the pain but let’s see this kind of pain if I can handle it 🙏🏼 because some of these Braxton hicks be painful.

Gave birth yesterday with no epidural. Was always the plan but no time also. 2nd birth, and contractions are the worst part of it... by the time you get to pushing it actually feels good as you're relieving the contractions. It stings, not going to lie, called the rinf of fire for a reason, but it is manageable and temporary. First labour was 40 hours unmedicated, yesterday was 5 hours unmedicated. Hypnobirthing and Lamaze techniques help as well as a supportive partner who can coach you through/massage etc. You all got this!!!

@Charlie love that for you! You are so strong and I’m so proud of you! Girl did tears come out or could you breathe fine ? Did you feel like passing out or anything ? Sorry I’m just curious girl 😩

I planned to go unmedicated. When I was 5 cm, the pain was so bad that I almost passed out a couple of times. I asked for the epidural, but the baby had other plans. I went from 5 to 10 in less than 10 min. I ended up having an unmedicated birth as planned, but because I had a spontaneous delivery.

Just gave birth unmediated… and all I can say is just go for it, they will accommodate if you decide you need the epidural. I stuck it out and by the end I was definitely “screaming” (I wouldn’t call it screaming but idk how else to describe it but my husband even said he didn’t know I could produce such noises lol). Like others have said the ring of fire is called that for a reason but when they put your baby on your chest you completely forget about it all

@Amber I've heard warm water works better!

@Samantha wow girl but you did it 🤩 that is amazing!!

@Madlyn awh that is such a motivation tho for sure 🥺 you did great!! I love that part I know it would all be worth it once baby is here and put on chest 🥹🥹

@Alicia I’ll have to try both!
