Am I able to collect child maintenance even thought he’s not on the birth certificate? He sends me £100 a month on a random day. He earns good money on power stations. He’s self employed so he earns a lot and doesn’t pay tax sometimes.
Should I put him on child maintenance or just ask for half the nursery fees that he’s refusing to pay. At least he could help with that as I work full time

Hi, yes you can still go through child maintenance. The child does not need to have the father on the birth certificate. You couldn’t asking him first to keep things amicable and between yourselves. If that doesn’t work then you can try the other route x
