How far along were you when you got your blood drawn? It's nobody's fault. It probably just means your little babes hasn't grown enough and you don't have enough fetal DNA in your blood yet

Have you spoken to your OB? In California where I live, it’s a completely separate health portal than your regular health records portal and it doesn’t show up there…. Maybe this is contributing? I wouldn’t panic until you talk to your OB! Fingers crossed you don’t have to redo it

Get a more qualified phlebotomist.

@Michelle I was 12 weeks.

@Erika strange . maybe a different system used here but my obgyn gave me only a 7 day window to be able to do it between 10 and 11 weeks. they said after 11 weeks it gets complicated so idk . again maybe using a different system.

I was 10 weeks and 3 days when I got mine done so it should’ve definitely shown up. If you do it again when you open your app be careful it’ll pop out at you if your doing a gender reveal

It probably means your "fetal fraction" was too low - there just wasn't a high enough proportion of cfDNA in maternal blood that comes from the placenta to get good results. Not sure if was due to how far along you were (12 weeks is on the later side I think), and being 14 weeks now might be outside the window to redo it. My aneuploidy and sex results were fine, but my carrier screen came back as positive for cystic fibrosis. However, the fetal fraction was too low for them to analyze the fetal risk, so I had to go get 2 more vials drawn today. Still have to set up the call for genetic counseling.

I had the same happen and it’s because my name wasn’t exactly how the OB office out in my name. Send the company your NIPT was through and they should help you out
