Consultant led

Anyone else consultant led who has had any appt with consultants so far? I am and I haven't even had one so far, just a midwife one for booking appt. I thought I'd be getting one 1 every trimester atleast?

I have my first consultant appointment a week after my 12 week scan. My scan is next week. Xx

I guess it may depend why, my cons appointment is around 22ish weeks

I have a consultant appointment next week which will be just over 14 weeks. Can anyone confirm why some women see the consultant and others don’t?

@Helen me personally , I have another health condition that can get worse during pregnancy. This is under control so I saw the consultant once during my last pregnancy to discuss it and they signed me back over to midwife led care , this was about 17 weeks

I have my first consultant appointment around 16 weeks so had nothing in first trimester - I am consultant led as I had an emergency c-section with my first baby

I had my first consultant app this morning, I'm 11+1 but have a few complex health problems. Most are not normally until after 12wk scan depending on the reason you're consultant led

I am consultant led and don’t have an appointment until 22 weeks. Midwife only until then. @Helen my reason is because of my age - 40+

I’m combined care (consultant/midwife/gp) and have my first appointment with consultant at 17wks - also have a midwife appointment same week

I have my first consultant appts next week and I’ll be 15/16 weeks at that point. I’ll be consultant led as I have a thyroid problem and tore during labour with my first. My advice would be to remember consultants can give suggestions on how your pregnancy and labour could be managed, but it’s YOUR pregnancy 🧘‍♀️

I have my consultant appointment Friday and I’ll be 14 weeks, I have a few risk factors but they said it’s mainly because I have inflammatory bowel disease x
