First Midwife Appt

So I had my booking appt with the midwives last week, 2nd pregnancy but daughter was born prem 7 years ago. They’ve marked me as high risk? (I think because of my daughter being born at 33w previously) but now also prescribed me aspirin to take every night. Is anyone else in a similar position or has been prescribed aspirin to take throughout the whole pregnancy? Feeling a bit overwhelmed with the amount of tablets I’m now being asked to take as it’s up to 6 in a day.

Yes! I have been as my son was born on a low centile! It’s to help the blood flow with the placenta or something, I need to take it from 12 weeks. What other tablets are you having to take? X

@Sarah so I’m just 10 weeks today and I got put on it last week! I’ve heard about it being from 12 weeks though so I’m a little worried! As well as the 2x Aspirin they’ve also put me on 1 iron tablet for a month and 2x vitamin D, plus the folic acid if I can manage to take it🥲x

@Anonymous yeah it really is overwhelming & because my nausea is soooo bad, taking tablets makes it 100x worse so I have like an internal panic when it’s time (I still take them) but it’s just a lot right now & I feel so unwell everyday😩 but I wan nothing more than little baba to be healthy x
