Activity ideas?

Anyone got any ideas for a neariy 7 month old? We did go to 2 classes a week but we now can't afford them, we go on walks, playmat, tummy time, jumperoo, soft play. Just feel like she's getting bored and she doesn't like to be held anymore and she constantly rolls so doesn't sit still for more than 2 minutes 😂

We go feed ducks in the park 😂 however my daughter prefers to chew on bread and observe me feed them rather than do it herself 😂

You could make some sensory bags!! Have a look on Google or YouTube, there's lots of ideas for them on there 😊

Check your local library. Mine runs a lovely little free sing along and you don't need to book.

@Katie That's one of the classes we have been going to, she enjoyed it at first but it's very repetitive x

Have a look at your local children's centres to see if they have play sessions too or run groups. I take a walk to the local garden centre sometimes and we look at the plants/flowers/fish, then I might grab a bite to eat in their cafe. At the moment I feel like we're constantly going food shopping to buy all the ingredients for her to try lots of new things 😂 but that's rather expensive!

Have a look on your local council, library and I think even some church websites/sometimes they have posters in the libraries - lots of places do some free classes/baby groups during the week :)

I’ve started taking baby out during awake times, rather than just taking out for naps. It helps pass the time a bit now that they’re awake longer. Sometimes just dress her up warm and go sit in the park with her toys, show her leaves etc. also can go on the swings (the ones with safety bars) now which is fun!

Gloop, jelly play, water play, greek yogurt painting, sensory bags, could make a song bag
