Ok but why do women have a harder time making friends????

I know for me it’s hard to find women that aren’t materialistic and superficial, especially this day and age so I totally hear you. Thankfully I still have the same best friend I grew up with but she’s 800 miles away so it’s always bittersweet when we talk because I just want to hug her and hang out

I feel you on the same thing but I don’t want to talk too much on men either. And it’s actually hard to find women who has similar interests.

Yes hahaha my husband says it's because ATLEAST his friends don't really hold grudges . They are open and aware that new friends will come and go . Though he does have some friends that do hold grudges. I think it's because us women hold on to things alot myself included. Also we put more into wanting to keep friendships . I can't fully explain it . But ever since I've adopted my husband's view points I've Abby more success in making friendships. Even if we don't talk that much. Just knowing hey if I need my friend she's there

@Shawna same! I have my best from middle school but she lives out of state so we barely see eachother and I haven’t had a friendship like that in a while!

Yes my hubs has a lot of childhood friends they still hangout I mean I friends with the wives or gf but it’s tough my childhood bestie have been friends since we were 6

@Danielle I agree! Women do tend to hold grudges over tiny things too and that is a good point it usually is about finding new friends instead of being a actual friend to the ones you do have

@Giselle yes definitely that's what my husband said . his best friend since they were 2 didn't talk most of middle and high school just hung with different crowds but everytime they meet up it's like they've stayed in close contact

For me i had alot of friends in high school but once i got into college it was always a competition. They just changed on me and once i got pregnant they were all about congratulating and saying theyd be there. Had my baby and now im alone. I am a great long distance friend but not very good in person. Ive been told im too much, always try to mother or they get defensive bc i take care of my physical self. Honestly making girl friends now in person is rough its always competition. I just want to have someone to talk to about girl stuff mom stuff and be there for others. Ok rant over 🙈

I find it harder because people can see through bullshit easily and don’t want to put up with drama or nonsense. I have been burned one too many times by so called friends. Looking back, I was used and abused and never saw it for what it was.
