Doctors appointment

I have my first doctors appointment tomorrow after 6 months of ttc our second. I’ve decided to get help mainly because I’ve only ovulated twice in 6 months and I’ve heard with your second, any time over 6 months is classed as secondary infertility. Does anyone have any advice about talking to an nhs gp about this? I believe I have PCOS but have been tested for it before and my bloods came back negative (by 0.01%) but from what I understand, they’d have to test everyday for a whole cycle to get a full picture which, let’s face it, the NHS are not funded to do. I’m hoping for some help to ovulate so fingers crossed 🩷✨

Could u pls share what they suggested.

@Soňa I will do! I already take vitamins and track my LH levels. I believe my luteal phase is too short as I don’t ovulate until day 20 (+) and then tend to get my period 9 days after

@Soňa so they said they can’t help until we have been trying for a year and as we already have a child, we wouldn’t be entitled to any ivf or anything on that route. They’re going to retest me for PCOS and basically said that I need to wait for 6 more months

@Incognito what a joke! I knew they'd say that tbf. We have been trying since last Sept but I got pregnant in June(had a miscarriage) so I bet it they would say I have to wake another year🫠 I was gonna go private back in May but then I got pregnant so I guess I'll do that as nhs is useless

@Soňa it’s just disappointing because since having my son I ovulate super late in my cycle and I have always got my period 10 dpo so my luteal phase is too short. I feel like if my egg does get fertilised then I don’t have enough time for it to implant before I bleed :(
