Nexplanon

So I had my daughter 9 months ago and I haven't had a menstrual cycle since before I had her because I breastfeed her on September 19 I got the nexplanon in my arm and today I woke up having menstrual bleeding. Is this from getting the nexplanon ?

i got nex and haven’t had bleeding since before my baby either but i got pregnant with her on a different kind of birth control. the doctor did tell me it will start my period if im in ovulation so that might be what happened to you

I have had the nex for about 4 years I got it shortly after I had my son. i remember bleeding at the beginning but now I haven’t bleed in almost a year 😬
