Not necessary and tbh it's pretty boring. I've literally just come out of mine and was glad I didn't drag my husband to it. But then it's my 2nd pregnancy so it feels like less of an unknown. If you feel like you could use support then by all means take your partner or mum or a friend with you! Xx
I took my Husband as they want to know medical history of parents/siblings and his family have a complicated list so it was easier for him to be there for that.
No I went by myself lol but he helped me fill out the medical forms on badger
I’m going by myself and did for our first as well. Barely asked anything about him so was pointless him being there, not an exciting apt in my opinion x
I didn’t take mine with me but he did give me details of his parents medical issues in case they asked, but they didn’t! But if you’re going alone it’s worth taking with you just in case they do ask x
Mine came with me and it was nice to have him there, the midwife did ask him some questions too and was also nice to have him while bloods were taken!
It is not necessary but it is helpful. I had to give 6 vials of blood, his presence definitely was useful to walk me back to the car 🤷🏼♀️ If he can’t make it, take a friend at least.
