We’re getting my little girl a few toys, some that will aid her development. And also Father Christmas will be bringing her a walker. It is their first Christmas’ but I still think it’s important to celebrate! We will definitely be going bigger next year still! x
I’m just planning on wrapping up some bits that I would have bought him at that age anyway, Christmas or not! So probably things like jumperoo and bumbo (or similar), maybe some stuff for weaning like cutlery/ suction plates etc. Nothing mental and probably get away with similar tactics next year too 😂 Even if he’s no clue what’s going on, I’ll remember 🤷🏻♀️😂
We are going for things we need for him, a bigger play mat, some development toys, weaning stuff. And as a big purchase a little ball pit for his room xx
They may not remember it but we will, so you make Christmas as special and magical as you want ❤️❤️

Getting a walker/bouncer, a ball pit, bath toys, sensory toys, weaning bits and a jelly cat teddy x
We don't plan getting anything apart from a special first Christmas decoration. As nothing he needs yet got lots of toys, clothes in next sizes and, books...(we are lucky as he got older cousins) and we knew some people will be him buying bits so he will have a couple of bits. If really want to get something why not get few clothes in next size or highchair something you will need/use.
A toy box for the front room and A stocking that will last her a few years (I’ve had mine for 27 years) A tree decoration ( will get her one every year so that when she leaves home she’ll have 18 Christmas decorations to take with her, as she gets older she can help chose them). Also a reusable Christmas advent calendar where we can put our own things in each year for her. That’s it, that’s all we are getting.
