Baby shower in January (AUS)

Hey girls, thinking of having my baby shower early January. Given I’m going to be in my third trimester in the middle of summer I wanted to do it a month or so before people usually do it in the hopes it won’t be as stinking hot and I won’t be as large. Tell me is January going to be far too hot to get away with doing something outside in any capacity? Do we think it just needs to be in an air conditioned venue 🤔 seeking Aussie advice only for obvious reasons 🩵🩵

I would go indoors! I had my baby shower outdoors in March and it was soooo hot borderline not enjoyable for me🥵 I’m from the GC as well. It’s such a big day regardless and it will likely take it out of you. When you’re that pregnant I swear you feel hungover anyway after social events like that let alone if you’re in the heat.

@Rebecca this was my thought too I’ll just be so hot and bothered. I’m having it at a house so there is access to air conditioning inside if need be but I wanted to do the picnic style in the shade on the front lawn 😖

I’m due in March and was planning a January baby shower outside at my house so fingers crossed haha. I think Jan will be fine especially if it’s at a house where people can sit inside or out etc
