I had a big contraption like one of these and it’s such a con, a waste of money. Mine was basically a tiny steamer and a tiny blender, when you can just steam in a pan and use a stick blender, it’s quicker and you can make much bigger quantities. Also my daughter only ended up on purées for a matter of weeks.
Honestly a normal blender is better and just buy a steamer basket for the pan
Ahh sounds like I’m better off just buying a steamer basket then. I’ve got plenty of blenders but never steamed anything. Thanks all 👍🏻
I got a good seamer when I weaned my 1st daughter in 2021 and I literally use it all the time still. It has 3 seperate sections for keeping veggies seperate for a fussy toddler. But also being honest, if I didn't own this still, I wouldn't buy one again, I would just steam over the stove. It's not necessary in the slightest. I had the nutribaby and it was cute but totally unnecessary lol. Like it’s just an extra appliance that has 3 of my other appliances built into it. It’s also big as all hell and I hate storing it. I just think you can steam on stove top or with a steamer and a blender/immersion blender is more practical and has more use. I’d rather a ninja bullet or something small to blend
