Stressed- am I hurting our baby!?

So we are in the process of moving home and on Thursday evening around 4pm we got a provisional date to exchange so we were absolutely thrilled. The estate agent then called us the same day at 5pm to say the seller has decided they are going to keep the property they were selling us and rent it out. I’m so stressed about the situation, we’re 17 weeks pregnant, this sales has taken 4 months. I’m worried we’ll lose our buyers. My husband keeps saying it’ll be ok and that I’m hurting the baby and I don’t know how to stop worrying about it all. Am i hurting them, how can I stop worrying?

Your not hurting your baby at all don't stress about that! Yes buying and selling is a stressful time but you won't be doing any harm to your baby for having different emotions x

It’s natural to worry about it all. I exchanged at 33 weeks pregnant and whilst it was stressful it was totally worth it once baby was here and we had our new home! Just keep thinking of the end goal x

Your not hurting the baby but you need to try and stay calm. Easier said than done, I know. You could try meditation. There is a good meditation series on Netflix called head space. I have used it and found it useful. Staying calm throughout your entire pregnancy probably is best but as it is over 9 months, what is the chance of that. I was stressed out during my pregnancy due to me and my husband issues which ended in us splitting and my daughter is now 4 and happy and healthy. Stressing about hurting your baby while being stressed will just stress you more. It's a vicious cycle. As well as meditation you could look on the internet for breathing techniques to calm you
