Diet guilt

Is anyone else struggling with diet guilt? I've been told the second trimester is for eating better, so I'm eating as much fruit as possible and veg in my dinners but I'm rubbish at giving in to my sweet cravings... my baby girl loves cake and sweets! My willpower sucks 😕

I’m 16 weeks and I’ve been living purely off beige food 🤦🏼‍♀️ as long as you’re having enough calories so that baby can eat something and you’re taking your pregnancy supplements I’m sure your baby girl will be absolutely fine 🩷

Glad I'm not the only one! I'm 19 weeks and really thought my food choices would of improved but I feel so guilty giving into cravings! 🥺 I'm taking my vitamins and trying to eat good around the bad! Hopefully the sweet cravings will die off soon 🤞

I’m so pleased to see this my cravings are noodles though 🙁 I can’t stop !!!! I’m like you I’m trying to eat more fruit and veg but like eating the rubbish too

I’ve just been eating whatever I want, I’ve always hated fruit and veg though😂😂

Yes and I feel so guilty! Especially when I usually eat really healthy and exercise 3-4 times a week. Now I’m lucky if I go for a walk once a week. I had a salad the other day in an attempt to eat better and I was sick all day. I’m almost 17 weeks and everything is still making me sick so I’m living off bread and crackers 😔 I’m also not drinking enough as I can’t stomach any liquid.

I'm glad I'm not alone! The guilt is horrible but aslong as our little babies are still getting the pregnancy supplements they need, they'll be okay 💕💕

My first pregnancy the only thing I could keep down no matter how far along I was were dry beige foods, my sons fine and eats more veggies than I would ever dare touch. As long as you get vitamins from somewhere it doesn't matter. Cravings can sometimes actually be a sign that you need more of something, I craved ice found out I was anemic, craved salt and I had low blood pressure so it was actually reccomended for me to carry on. As long as you and babys healthy who cares
