these hormones are getting me in trouble 😭

long story short, a close friend of my mums wanted to see my bump, I was like I cba atm im too tired to stand up, she was like okay whatever. I kinda got annoyed because I said no one ever asks about the mother it’s only ever about the baby like I am human too, would be nice to be asked about myself for once. she went ‘well it’s all about the baby now’ I said I think that was rude tbh, she literally full blown kicked off and was like nah you’ve pissed me off, I’ve paid for XYZ for this baby and your making out I don’t care. I never said that I just said no one really asks about me anymore? Was I really out of line with what I said? Honestly I feel like I’ve become so angry since being pregnant, im just tired of people asking me about it and wanting to see my bump. Go away😂

Oh I don't think you're wrong but some people just don't get it 🥲 has this lady had any babies before? When my dad met my baby he didn't even look at me or acknowledge me until way after he'd seen baby lol - would expect it from him tbh. But still it's rude lol. I find it easier to try keep my mouth shut with certain people but I don't think you're wrong at all🥲and lol I had a temper when I was pregnant too I felt like I was actually going crazy but doesn't mean our feelings aren't valid right?🫣

@Charis she has 3 children but she argues with her 14 year old daughter and it’s absolutely awful🙈before pregnancy i had calmed down a bit and let some things slide but since being pregnant, there’s just something in me that cannot bypass things anymore, im sure it’s bound to get worse when it comes to my daughter 😂🙈

This is absolutely awful! I’ve been told “it’s not about you anymore, it’s about the baby” and to this day, I still get livid when I think about it. I’m still a human, and I still matter! This baby wouldn’t be here without the mother! It’s usually my dad who keeps saying this, so I interpret it as “you gave me my grandkid, nothing else matters now”. Hormones are definitely crazy, but you’re absolutely right and entitled to any feeling you may have
