I did 4 weeks on my first little girl 3 years ago and had my second little girl in June and drove 2 weeks after her. I bounced back from both really quick luckily. I wasn’t feeling pain nor taking painkillers x

I went back to pre baby weight within 2 - 3 weeks on both also so felt active and not very sluggish. I didn’t drive far until about 2 months in especially have the two and feeling confident to taking them both out. My insurance company said there wasn’t anything in their policy to say I had to wait for a pre postal check up x

I drove after 2 weeks, wasn’t on any medication etc and felt fine to do so :)

I did 4 weeks. As long as you can do an emergency stop you can drive x

Admiral - they said as long as the doctor hadn’t requested I don’t drive then it’s fine, the doctor I spoke to over the phone just said as long as I can do an emergency stop then I can drive so didn’t have to wait for the 6 week check or need one to drive earlier x

I did from the 6th day, but only because I didn't realise that the insurance was not covering me incase of an accident 🤐

No but I probably will with my next one lol

@Charlene ooo this is interesting I’m with Admiral and I thought I wouldn’t be allowed to drive prior to 6 weeks - will deffo ask them

@Aimee I’m also with admiral it was just as long as I could do an emergency stop was fine to drive

I drove at 4 weeks. Not being able to drive was making me depressed

@Aimee I’m with admiral they said I didn’t need to notify them and I didn’t need doctors permission I just had to be sure I could fully control the car. I drove at 3 weeks and was fine x

I drove about 3 weeks. But that was only because my baby had to go to hospital and my partner doesn’t drive x

Yes I did 3 weeks. But had no pain
