no way im 20 weeks too when’s your due date

Congratulations!!! Mom of soon to be 6 here! At about 39 weeks start eating dates if you can’t stomach them add them to smoothies. At 37 weeks start drinking the real red raspberry left tea. You can get it from Amazon from a store called Frontier. When your closer to your due date it be sound weird but it’s important to make sure your bowels are as empty as possible. Stay hydrated. And exercise as much as you can squats are the best when closer to due date! Also the pain of labor is going to hurt like hell but I promise you put your mind at ease with something you love to do! For me it’s music. The labor pains will go as soon as you deliver baby! I suggest you hold out on the epidural because as soon as you delivered the baby not only will you heal faster but it’s less painful!! Hope this helps

@aniya February 18!

I’m 20 weeks and my due date is February 18. Also my first

@Leya im due the 23rd of February but i feel like my ob got my due date wrong, at my last ultrasound she was measuring at 19 weeks at only 18 weeks

Congratulations! Do your research! Thats the best way to be a good advocate for yourself. Use trusted resources like evidencebasedbirth.com, lamaz.org, the Birth Hour Podcast is also good, ICAN (International Cesarean Awareness Network), childbirthconnection.org. And not just one method of birth but also c-section and what to expect and what recovery would look like. (I ended up having to have an emergency c section with my first and I didn’t expect to nor did I look into it and I was wreck and so traumatized because I didn’t know what to expect, Im sure I would have been less traumatized if I had better prepared) Find out if your hospital has a maternity group for your gestational age they’re very informative and can also be your support once the baby comes. Your insurance will cover a free breastpump try to get your hands on some and see whats best for you if you plan on breastfeeding or pumping, you can reach out to a lactation consultant and they will usually have some.

I would say also call your insurance and see what they cover and see if you need to or could upgrade so they can cover more? And see how much of the pump they cover sometimes is 200-400 depending on the insurance. You can produce milk at 36 weeks and thats also a good way to bring on labor, put it into little droppers for the baby freeze them and take them with you that way the hospital won’t have to give the baby formula if its too hard to produce (again reach out to a lactation consultant for advice they’re usually covered by insurance or they will be free they’re so sweet) This is especially important if you end up having to or choose to have a c-section because it can delay your milk production of you wait to produce until after c-section delivery. You can sign up for registries at amazon, target, babylist and walmart they will usually send you a free box of baby stuff which is nice and with Amazon, Target, and Walmart you get a discount for everything on your registry.

So for Target add alllll the diapers and wipes you want in different sizes and you’ll get like 15-20% off

@Diloshi thank you

Of course feel free to reach out anytime

Welcome! I’m 20 weeks with my first as well!
