Signs of weaning/teething

Wondering if anyone is in the same boat? My LO is now just over 13 weeks (nearly 15 weeks re adjusted as he was 10 days late) and he has been showing signs of weaning and teething from week 11. He has been two weeks ahead of milestones per my week by week baby book and is now cutting teeth (I can feel them when applying the granuals to help with pain). I am aware we are advised to wait until 6 months & per advice from the health visitor (due to signs and high percentile) we have been given the go ahead to wean early at 5 months. He is actively chewing, dribbling & holding his neck up, watching us eat and reaching for our food already! My LO has a diagnosed cows milk allergy & is on aptamil pepti 1 with carobel in for thickening/ to reduce reflux so we have to follow specific weaning advice and reintroduce cows milk at 6 months. Has anyone weaned early with tastes of baby rice/ veg purees? There are some labeled 4-6m despite the recomeneded 6m for weaning. I am looking for similar experiences/ tips or advice (please note I will not be feeding anything before speaking to my health visitor at 16 weeks so no lectures pls 🤣)

I asked a similar question a couple of weeks ago and got some.. strong opinions on here :( we also have the start of teeth showing and he is hungry all the time- following my food etc. Someone did mention that weaning earlier than 6 months increases chances of asthma and eczema but we both have eczema anyway so he probably has it 😂

Yes my baby is 4 months and the last week we have given him puréed broccoli in the evening before his bottle he literally has about 4 little spoon amounts. And in the morning we have the Ella pouches of apple and banana purée which again we give a few spoons before bottle. He’s loving it and he’s getting some new texture and tastes

Very helpful guys thank you! My LO is not doing well on milk alone he seems intolerant even to the pepti 1 but the doctors won't listen or give me the next milk up, thinking of going back the GP but also think he would benefit from other sources of nutrients and something heavier in his stomach... and he very much is wanting to eat 😅 all baby's in mine and my partners family have been very early developers and most of us were eating at 4 months/ 16 weeks. He's just guzzling milk and crying bless him 😫 so unsettled and just want him to feel better 😅

You know your baby best :) x
