Meals

What times are you giving your baby food? I do 8am brekkie, 12:30 lunch, 5:30 tea but I don’t do any snacks! Should I be adding in snacks? And should lunch and tea be a bit earlier for 7:30 bed?

When baby turns one the advice is to give three meals and two snacks a day. Before then it’s milk as their main source of nutrition and three meals a day.

Very similar timings to you and we don’t do snacks either! We have dinner around 5.30 so we can eat together as a family. Sometimes it does feel like we go straight into the bed routine from dinner, but before I go back to work and we have to have a new routine, I want to keep him eating with us x

We are early risers so normally breakfast is around half 6-7, lunch at 12 and dinner at 4, for a half 6 bedtime. I usually offer snack at about half 9ish as my 3 year old has a snack then.. sometimes she wants it, sometimes she's not interested at all x

We do breakfast within the first hour of her waking, lunch at 12:30/1 and dinner at 5/5:30. No snacks either because she isn’t interested!

No snacks as HV said if hungry between meals to give milk - snacks not needed before 1 years old. We do breakfast 8am then lunch can be anytime between 12-1 depending on naps of the day or baby classes then dinner is between 5 and 5:30
