I’m a terrible mom

My husband seems to call me out on all of the things I’m doing wrong. My son is almost two, we accidentally got pregnant and I’m 4 months now, and he continues calling me out on stuff and I’m always left feeling like the world’s most awful mom. I went through really bad postpartum depression with my first and I feel like he made it worse. I had to retrain my brain to stop making him the bad guy and to rebuild my confidence but the saga continues and I almost don’t want to be here. If I’m so bad why am I having another one? Why do I deserve to be a mom?

Soo sorry you’re dealing with all of this while being pregnant, I would say you need to take a step back and look at the entire situation. Are you actually a bad mom? Or are you’re letting things that your husband say get to you? We all are waking up everyday trying to keep the kids alive, trying to be there for them and be everything they need and more. You can’t let someone else opinion/criticism over power who you are as a parent. You may not be perfect but hey neither am I and I have 5 running around like chickens lol. We’re all in this thing together as moms I’m pretty sure the baby is fine and you’re doing everything in your power to make sure needs are met. When you’re thinking about not being here anymore, try taking your mind somewhere else, think about happy moments or things that can change your mood. I use to go sleep with my kids when I had really bad depression while being pregnant, that helped a lot. I am here if you need some uplifting support or just need to talk.

So what he says his what he think of himself I learned with therapy your good love I know the feel my DMs are open I know the feeling

Oh no. He's a weight you don't need. I'd say shut him off. Give all your energy to yourself and babies. I am sure you are a great mum and he's just nasty for all that. Dedicate yourself to your kids and use the time to decide what you want. I have a temper and I'd never allow someone to do that to me because only I KNOW my child and ik I've been bloody amazing. If you aren't able to tell him to stop that negative talk and how it affects you.... next time try letting him talk and in the end sweetly agree with him and ask him to show you how to do wtf he's on about for a month and you'll follow. He'll stop. Is he a hands on dad?? Most of such nasty people aren't. So sorry. Xx

@Lav thanks. He is a hands on dad. He’s a great dad. He obviously could work on things himself too, but he is a great dad and I never feel good enough :/
